What costumes will my child/children need? How do we purchase these?
All costume details will be available to view via the parent/pupil login area. Costumes are all organised and ordered by Miss Marianne & Miss Chrissy. Costumes are available to purchase via the commitment form/costume form. Costumes are listed as classes and class times on these forms. If you are unsure about your class, please refer to your invoice or just ask us! Costumes will be handed out in lessons once they are processed.
How much will the costume(s) cost?
All costume prices are available to view on the parent/pupil login area (commitment form/costume form). We always endeavour to keep prices to a minimum and make savings for parents/pupils where we can whilst ensuring appropriate costumes for age and dance styles. With large group orders of various sizes, manufacturers times, availability of stock, costume manufacturers increasing pricing etc this is not an easy job! Costumes will be reused for exams in the future and for other performances this dancing year!
What is the deadline for costume orders?
This year we have split costumes into two payments to help spread out costs. The first half of the payment is due with the commitment form by 20th December 2025. The second half of the costume payment is due with the costume form by 28th March 2026.
Why do I need to put measurements/size on the costume form?
Due to suppliers some costumes will be made to order/non-returnable so please give accurate sizing. Do not account for ‘growing room’ as this may mean your costume does not fit.
Will we be able to try costumes on?
Trying on costumes won’t always be possible as some items are made to order/non-returnable. Please give accurate sizing on the costume form to make sure your costume fits.
What underwear should be worn underneath costumes?
Underwear should not be visible underneath costumes - a neutral tone works best. Bra straps should be clear. Dance underwear is available to purchase via our website on the online shop. For those dancers who need more support, big retailers such as M&S, Primark, Next etc have nude bras with clear straps which work well.
